Small images take over a second to load!!

  • I’ve run my WordPress blog through FireBug, and found out that really small images like icon_rss.gif and hr_dot_black.gif take over a second to load. Really weird. Any idea why? The images are in the right place.

    I also noticed style.css takes a good 2 seconds. I’m using a cutline theme by Chris Pearson.

    Any help appreciated thanks.
