• Resolved supertrooper2

After upgrading from version 1.6.4 to 1.6.7 I realized that the stats were not being listed as normal.

Included in the stats were the home page and a custom login page. This is despite the code including the following:

    showhome=no

After checking out the link to developers I was surprised to see that all of the recent versions are not listed anymore – a problem if one wants to revert to a recent version!

Fortunately I had a back-up copy of version 1.6.4 and was able to re-install this version, and this solved the problem.

Justin, The Google Analytics Top Posts Widget is still the best plugin of its type and we are proud to feature this plugin on our website.

Hopefully you will be able to resolve this issue with 1.6.7.

Thanks in advance for your great support.

  • Same issue here, the bug cropped up 2 versions ago. Limiting to posts only still lists paginated homepage entries, aka page 2, 3. etc in the results. It appears to be a bug introduced recently that slipped through the cracks.

I wasn’t able to backup to 1.6.4 due to some other updates, so hoping this can get fixed next version.

The home page and a custom login pages are still being included in the list of stats.

Version 1.6.4 works perfectly but version 1.6.7 causes this problem. I have been forced to re-install version 1.6.4.

This problem was reported 2 months ago but I haven’t had any reply.
Hopefully there will soon be a solution to this problem.

The showhome value would not do anything with the custom login page. I’m not sure what you are expecting there. You can find the old versions here: https://github.com/jtsternberg/Google-Analytics-Top-Content-Widget/releases.

Tom, next update will also included paginated homepages as well.
Next version will also handle the showhome value a bit more accurately.

Justin, the latest version 1.6.9 resolves all problems with home and a custom login pages.

The plugin is now working perfectly.

    Thanks for the great support.
