Small bug with the gallery shortcode

  • I noticed a bug in the editor wysiwyg main with the gallery shortcode wordpress, when I’m in the editing screen (post / page).

    If I make a change to the parameters of the shortcode (add images, change the link, the thumnails order, or the number of columns), the changes are not saved.

    If in addition to the shortcode also I modify the content before or after the gallery shortcode, all changes are saved.

    In fact if I modify only the gallery, the changes are ignored, both in the default language that in the translation.

    Quick fix: I realized that when i switch from visual editor to “code view” the changes are saved.

    Does anyone have a similar problem?

    no ?? if I uninstall qtranslate-x the problem does not occur.

    The problem also occurs with the beta version of qtranslate-x, I just tried it, even replacing my theme.

    it’s a standard WP shortcode?

    which, put it here so I can test it also, the shortcode for wp-photo-album plus works well here.

    it is the standard shortcode
    [gallery link = "file" size = "medium" columns = "4" ids = "112,111,121,110,120,122"]
    With all other shortcode (also custom) I have no problems.

    Perhaps it can be useful:
    1) when I modify the gallery shortcode in the wysiwyg editor and I close the media modal popup, the gallery preview in the editor remains with the focus active (this prevents saving changes).

    2) before you save the page or post, just click anywhere within the editor, but out of the gallery shape, and the changes are saved correctly (same thing if you change the view from visual editor to code and returns back )
