Small boxes appearing within text only in Internet Explorer 8 and older

  • I don’t know if this has anything to do with wordpress at all, but I can’t figure out what is causing this. Any help is appreciated.

    If you are looking at this page in IE8, there are small boxes in the text starting in the 2nd paragraph. Here’s a screenshot for those without IE8 https://i.imgur.com/hWw4u.jpg I can’t find anything that would be causing this.

    Unfortunately, the vast majority of our site visitors are using IE8 or IE7, so I just can’t ignore it. Any advice? Thanks!
