"sm_ping" entries that causes server crashing

Hi,
I’m using the version 4.0.8 of your plugin with WordPress 4.3.1 and the cron option in the table wp_options of WordPress database is inflated with a lot of “sm_ping” entries that causes server crashing. Do you have any idea what might caused these repeated entries in the database?
