In the last few days, when I go into articles to update them, the slug keeps changing to append a “-2” on the end. It won’t let me change it back if I click update. The old version of the URL is not found in the trash. The old version of the Url will redirect to the new version, but I can’t find a source for the redirect. My hosting company is looking into it, but can’t seem to find the source problem either. The issue began a few days ago.

Example URL: https://www.streamingobserver.com/tnt-live-stream/ no redirects to https://www.streamingobserver.com/tnt-live-stream-2/

Has anyone experienced this? Any clue how to revert back to the old version of the URL? Any clue how to make this stop?

Found the problem. MailMunch plugin recently updating and is forcing slug changes. Disabled plugin and the problem is gone.
