Slug is changing to have -2 added but posts are not duplicated

Hi, the slug I enter for each post now saves with -2 at the end. For example, I enter “333” as the slug and save, but the slug turns our to be “333-2”. I can’t figure out why. I haven’t changed how I am entering posts, but this started happening after this post and has occurred with each subsequent entry.

This matters because the post data comes in from different forms before I create a post of it. The forms assign id numbers and that becomes my slug. I track the posts with these numbers in a master spreadsheet, and need to have the slug accurately reflect the spreadsheet.
