Slug have single qoutes

Hi all,
I am working on a site, in which we are using wordpress.
In post we are adding tags with single quotes.
For example “South City’s Plot”. Ideally its’ slug should be:” south-citys-plot “
But its’ not that it is in fact : ” south-city’s-plot “.
When we access above tag it give 404 error.
I am not able to figure out issue.
I added some tags with single quotes, its slug remove them automatically.
I don’t know why its’ happening here.
Please suggest why its’ happening?
And how to resolve this issue.
