slug field width (or lack of) in editor

Why does this not get fixed. I have noted this here three time and three version upgrades later it is still tiny.

Please have the Imperial High Command of Programmer Hobnobs look into this. Why intentionally make editing hard. Duh! That is why it is a edit field. So if I change the post name and need to edit slug should be easy to see full name or much more of it.

It is beyond me that someone would make so field sosmall when there is plenty of space for full width of editor.

I don’t thing MATT would approve of this sloppy approach to UI design.
