Slug Categories not working on my site?

I have read some of the posts here on slugs and permalinks, but I’m not sure what my issue is.

I’m trying make a blog/article section on my site. I enabled permalinks and it seems to be working for posts. I just made a post here: https://kundawake.com/chakras/

My question is this: I made a category called Articles with the slug article. I want it to be at https://kundawake.com/articles , but it’s not there. Am I doing something wrong? The permalink structure I have chosen is Post Name.

The tutorial for my template said that this was how to do it. I think my permalinks are working because of my post link so that’s not the issue, or am I wrong?

Of course it works when I go to https://kundawake.com/category/articles/ , but I thought it was enough with https://kundawake.com/articles ?
