    I published a new post. Now I realize the slug is not what I wanted it to be. Can I duplicate page, change the slug, delete first post and publish new one? Would that method be ok?

    Thank you for reaching out and our apologies for our late response.

    There are multiple ways to do what you need done. You could do what you explained just fine. There is nothing wrong in that. Just keep in mind if that “wrong” slug/permalink is used for a while, you might have that URL indexed in search engines and have backlinks to that URL, in that case, having the old redirected to the new one would be preferred. You can do so with a redirection plugin or consider Yoast SEO Premium which has a redirect manager feature.
