• My site was extremely slow to load, and Pingdom Webpage Speed showed Tidio was taking its sweet time.

Spoke (online chat) with Tidio, supplied the Pingdom link and they promised they would get back to me.. 2 weeks later still nothing!

Deactivating it solved the speed problem …
Uninstalling it and installing different Chat Plugin has solved everything. ..not world peace but I’m sure there’s a plugin being developed ??

Chat speed wasn’t the issue – Loading time of the website was the issue as clearly indicated by the Pingdom link that was supplied.

One day I might try Tidio again but for now I’ve had awesome results with another Chat Plugin.

Hi Chook – would love to know what ‘other’ chat plugin you used and were so pleased with.

    Hi Kimbruce,
Chook’s post was added a long time ago and in the meantime our service became much faster. We’ve reduced the number of files loaded and matched it with google requirements. Please contact us via email at contact [at] tidio.net, we will be happy to show you how it looks when you compare us with our competitors.

Feel free to Visit my profile to see what plugins I have used and rated.

I’ve Not retested Tidio live chat. There hasn’t been a need to change back. The current Chat Plugin I’m using has been working fantastically.
