    Without the plugin (Load value from Chrome’s Development->Network tab):

    With the plugin (Load value from Chrome’s Development->Network tab):
    3.81s
    3.26s
    3.47s
    3.25s

    And just to do one last test, without the plugin:

    Hi nimonogi,

    Thank you for the review. I’m sorry it’s causing you speed issues which, I’ll admit is odd, because unless you’re using the shortcode, it just adds a small Javascript to the top of the page.

    My own tests don’t show any such slowdown but that’s certainly not to say you’re not.

    Would you be willing to assist me tracking down the source of your problem so I can resolve it? For example, when you did you tests was it on a page where you had some hidden content?

    At the very least, I can maybe I can find an easy way to only include the script on pages when my plugin is called.

    I realised that, ironically, loading the script on each page is something I mentioned about your Facebook Messenger plugin. So, once I work out the best way of achieving this, I’ll share the information with you ??
