Slows down login when accessing via domain/wp-admin

When you enter in domain/wp-admin
I have seen this plugin bring login page to a crawl (does not load for 30 seconds).Would appear that when the WordPress redirect pops upon entering /wp-admin, like:
https://websiteaddress.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwebsiteaddress.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1Going direct to /wp-login.php no problem.
This is a bug that needs to be fixed IMHO.
