Slowness in 5.5

    This plugin was working awesome… and then wordpress CHANGED something in 5.5… and now my shop page takes 20 seconds to load.

    Anyone else run into this and figure out a workaround/fix?

    I haven’t seen this behaviour in my testing on WP 5.5, but I can’t rule out some issue.

    Would you be happy to share with me an administrator login for your website so that I can look at this in more detail?

    Thank you, GazChap, for looking into this for me. You were very helpful. In the end, the hosting provider performed some SQL optimization that solved the issue (very odd). I’ve asked them to clarify what they did so it might help others who encounter this issue. For now my issue is resolved, but I’ll leave this open for just a bit so I can post the hosting company’s resolution if they provide it.

    All the host provider could tell me is that they optimized some InnoDB settings specific to my instance of MySQL. Sorry I couldn’t get more specific. Appreciate you taking your time to offer such great support!

    No probs, I’ve literally just pushed an update live that includes some transient based features which may help improve performance further.
