    Unfortunately no, thumbnails require a high amount of resources.

    Are they generated each time a folder is opened? Or it’s cached? The picture is small and shouldn’t had so much time to the process of opening a folder…

    It seems you are using PNG. Using JPEG can reduce the picture size several times. Check my sample case: https://monosnap.com/file/cqbJVmfNZQpiBlZUhFfyoXIAzoJHgD

    there is no cacheing of thumbnails.

    it has nothing to do with the picture size or type, its the processing power it needs to generate.

    To be honest at this point I can’t recommend using it.

    … Although the feature is extremely useful. I just found several files that weren’t working (no preview, wrong file, …) that was easily detected with the thumbnail. Without it, I would had to test each file individually.

    My vote to improve the feature!
