Hi, Whenever I update my woocommerce data/settings, site is getting very slow. When I disable Fibo search the site gets normal.

    Thanks

    Hi @nvntkriz096

The Free plugin version uses a native WooCommerce search engine. It means that the search speed depends on many factors:
    1. How many plugins do you have?
    2. How many products do you have?
    3. How your WordPress is optimized?
    4. How your server is fast?
    5. How big is the search scope?

Also, your product database may contain long product descriptions, which causes the database to be heavily loaded during searches. Please check how FiboSearch works when you disable the search in descriptions in WP Admin -> WooCommerce -> FiboSearch -> Search config (tab).

    Kris

    Hey @c0nst,
My concern is not a slow search result. The search results are fast enough. The issue is when woocommerce is updated or any change in a product attributes, the site freezes after that (both front-end and admin-end).
When I disable the Fibo search, it will be normal.

Anyway I use 30 plugins, optmized with wp-rocket/imagify/Cloudflare. I use Hostinger Cloudhost situated in the country itself. Have products around 130.

    Hi @nvntkriz096

I wonder if you can check exactly what processes are happening on your server that slows it down.
Perhaps you can ask support for a log report that would contain such elements.

Are you using any code snippets that modify FiboSearch?

Maybe some other plugin is causing the conflict. Check if the same slow performance issue occurs when only FiboSearch and WooCommrece are enabled. Also, try switching to a different theme and do the same.

    Kris

Not using any snippets for Fibo. Also tried with woocommerce and Fibo only enabled.
    Will try switching theme.
