Slow Website

  • I am very new to WordPress, so please excuse me if I am posting this in the wrong place. My websites are running very slow; it takes a while to load. I have checked with Gtmetrix and with Google Pagespeed, but I am afraid that I can’t figure out what the problem might be. I have tried disabling all plugins, but the issue does not go away. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. My websites are in Spanish….

  • I do see that Google pagespeed indicates to Leverage browser caching for the following cacheable resources… but I am afraid that I don’t know what that means.

    If you have WP Super Cache and Leverage Browser Caching Ninja both installed and setup properly then I would just ignore this.

    And GTmetrix this morning is horrible… It is indicating 24 secs load time….

    How many hits do you get on your website? Are you getting more then a few hundred an hour?
