Slow to submit, no notification

  • Hi Takayuki,

    I am currently running WordPress version 4.4.5 with Ken Theme. The website is https://www.sonavisual.com

    Previously, upon completion of our form on this page https://www.sonavisual.com/contact the person submitting a form would see a confirmation stating that we have received their communication and we will contact them shortly. This feature is still enabled on the back end. However, I have noticed seeing a 3-4 forms come in at a time. When I asked clients, they said they were not sure if it went through.

    When I tested it myself, I noticed the wheel spun for 20-30s (too long) and then upon submission, the confirmation line does not appear. Further, the form does not auto-clear so it is challenging for our client to know if their form submitted or not.

    Can you please assist me on resolving this? I can provide further details on our build, just not sure what you would require.

    What other plugins do you use?

    I am having the same issue. When the user submits the form, they do not get a success message. However an email is sent. Due to this lack of feedback they hit submit multiple times.

    I have other forms on the site that are working properly.

    Ok. Try deactivating Backup Buddy, Duplicate Post, Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades, Hubspot Tracking Code, Mailchimp for WordPress Lite, and WP Smush.
