Slow to load

Is it something to do with the header image.. I am using the default one without any customization

You don’t have a large loading time on the theme’s demo website do you?
Talk to your hosting providers about this.

ok.. will do, but my other sites are working perfectly fine , so i doubt that it is something to do with the host.. i use different themes there..

will still check out my host.

Do you know that your other sites are on the same server as this one?

Yes, I have a single account of Bluehost which i am using..

Also i checked with Domaintools and i see the same ip address for the server… I assume that confirms that they are on the same server.

Anyway, they’ll be able to identify what’s slow.

Ok.. but little confused as why my other site with different theme, with more content is working fine compared to this less content, default theme.

It looks like a lot of loading time is from the Addthis plugin

It’s the header image. Because it’s a large Png-file it loads very slowly. I’m searching how to replace that by a Jpg-file but I can’t find the answer yet.
