We have a GF form with a SF feed that has about 18 fields mapped to a Salesforce Lead Object. When the feed is ON, the form submit takes roughly 9 seconds. When the feed is OFF, the submit is instant, usually over/under 1 second. We’ve tried removing fields 1 by 1 to see if it’s a specific field issue, but it seems no matter what, when the feed is ON, the submit process takes substantially longer. We tried looking through the support boards/threads, but haven’t seen any answers. Any help would be much appreciated.

it is your server’s issue , why it takes too long time for connecting to salesforce
normally a feed takes less than a second
are you using API or web2lead

We are using the API method. Could you be more specific as to what could be the server issue? Or at least what we should be checking? We’re on a VPS and don’t have issues with anything else that I’m aware of.

@tul60522 we have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

@lundifourie unfortunately, no. We tested on CRMPerks’ site and saw the same issue when adding a “new” lead. I was told by a third-party that it’s possible it’s the workflows within Salesforce (and the response time). I agree with CRMPerks’ assessment that it isn’t their plugin, because when we resubmit a duplicate entry, the form submits instantly.

    Hey @tul60522, @lundifourie,

Thank You for the interest in this issue,

Our team has tested this on many sites and it can be related to slow server speed, or the way that Salesforce is taking in the feed (based on the work flow as @tul60522 stated)

Please let us know some additional details and we will do our best to help,

    Thank You – Sam

Thank you for the feedback. It’s greatly appreciated. I will let out team look into the Salesforce workflow and response time. The server speed has been ruled out.
