Hello. I find the plugin useful and have installed it in its entirety. But I have the impression that it has burdened the site to the point that the loading and response times of the server are very slow. I often get Error 500 and “cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)”.
For example, if I try to share the link on Facebook, neither title nor image appears. I also asked the managers of my web space but they say that everything is OK for them.
Can you give me a useful and effective solution to the slowness and loading problems?
    Thanks

    PS
I also tried to install some plugins that make the site fast but I don’t know

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @musicletter,

Firstly many thanks for your plugin feedback. Great to hear you find the plugin useful.

With regards the performance of your site I’m unsure of what checks or tools you’ve been using to test but great to hear that you are reviewing page speed, which is always important. If using tools such as PageSpeed Insights within Site Kit, or web.dev you’ll be able to identify opportunities for improvement. Site Kit itself doesn’t add any scripts or make any http requests that impact site performance on the front end of your site. It does however allow you to connect your site to services such as Google Analytics, AdSense and Tag Manager. Whether you use Site Kit to connect these services or whether you connected these services independently of using Site Kit there will be additional http requests made. Such https requests to communicate between your website and these services can have a slight performance impact, with many factors involved in the transfer of data for your site, including hosting, your location from where you’re testing and other factors.

If you do some performance testing on your site with only the Search Console module connected while not logged in you’ll notice there are no Site Kit http requests made and no Site Kit scripts executed.

Hopefully the above explains how the plugin works with these Google services. It simply facilitates the placement of your preferred Google services, without adding any additional loads on your site. The plugin is primarily admin panel operated and doesn’t impact performance itself.

When it comes to the 500 time out and cURL errors do you encounter any such errors with Site Kit temporarily deactivated? I ask as there can be a variety of causes for these errors. Many of the tests I’ve performed on your site fail or are inconsistent, possibly due to your site setup or even hosting environment. Your site also seems down on occasions.

Can you give me a useful and effective solution to the slowness and loading problems?
    Thanks

While not an expert on site performance please check the suggestion above, do you encounter any delays or time out errors or delays with Site Kit temporarily deactivated. I suspect what you’re encountering is not related to Site Kit however please do let me know.

    PS
I also tried to install some plugins that make the site fast but I don’t know

You’re using an AMP compatible theme so one possible avenue you may wish to consider is adopting AMP for your site. While it looks like you have various non compatible plugins you could experiment with AMP by using the AMP plugin and compare performance, before then checking for solutions to any of the incompatibilities. You may not require all the features on your site at present.
