    Hi, Im using namehero webhost which utilizes litespeed webserver so I decided to try the litespeed cache plugin in addition to using cloudflare… However my website speed is really slow using the litespeed cache plugin roughly 6.5 seconds… When I use plugin such as wp fastest cache my speed decreases to 3.5 seconds… Why is this… Is there a way someone can check my site to find out what’s happening… I’m setting up the pluggin for best performance and I would think it should work best seeing my host provider uses litespeed server…

    Hi,

    please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click “send to LiteSpeed”

    and secondly , make sure you see cache hit in HTTP response header

    Hye thaanks for your quick reply… Report number: EOYVXUPJ …. Its amazes me that with WP Rocket Im getting speed below 4secs but with litespeed my speed is horrible… I really hope we can find out why this is happening… I was told that since my hosting utilizes the litespeed server, the litespeed plugin should be working better than Wp rocket… Thanks in advance for assistance…

    Hi,

    I think I got the first issue for why

    I refresh the page like 10 times in 10 minutes , and I saw 9 cache miss

    that means for whatever reason , the cache is not being saved and constantly purged.

    so you were literally seeing the uncached page loading time.

    please check this page to obtain the purge tag , then we can try analyze who calls the purge.

    Okay I have found that indeed the cache is being purged too frequently… I found that cache is being purged whenever #1) A product is added to the shopping cart or #2) Whenever I create a new product and add it to the site… As a result when inspecting the page it shows cache missed instead of showing hit… I followed your url provided and I got the purge tags and attempted to resolve the issue… When I try and test it out, it’s still showing cache missed after I either add a product to the cart or if I add a new product to the website. I then decided to unselect everything in litespeed cache “Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update” settings and also unselect “purge all on upgrade”. Even after doing that I still got cache missed when I either add a product to the cart or if when I added a new product to the website. Can you please assist further… My site suppose to launch this weekend…

    Please do not open same issue over multiple places, it won’t speed up things but only slow it down.
