• Hi all, I have a problem.
I’m in Italy but our company is in Far East, so the server of our web site is in Hong Kong.
I just finished the site and claimed with the provider because it is slow:
in fact tested with ping and it is 1000% slower than our other sites with provider in Europe (ping of our other wordpress sites is max. 16ms, while this site is over 360ms).
The provider explained me that in Far East nodes they are very fast (same our site there is 6ms) and multiplied 60 times just in US and EU.
    So apparently “no way”:
I thought to apply a cache plugin or something to speed up.
Please give me a suggestion on the best way to make the site faster also here in EU.

  • Hello @mrosfy
Have you tried to run a speed check on your website using gtmetrix.com or a similar tool? Bigger projects require constant attention to optimizations, downsizing your image sizes and enabling caching/compression solutions is the best way to start.
It can give you some great insights on what needs to be optimized. The analysis will look something like this: https://prnt.sc/oozm2m
You can then expand for a further explanation.

will try Valentine, but I have made all already at minimum sizes from the beginning.
Yes it is a complez site, but not so much heavy.
    Anyhow will try.
    Thx

gtmetrix.com should give you some more detailed insights. Or if you drop your website here we may be able to give some more advice ??
