Slow Response Time after Clicking “Send”

  • Hello,

    I’m receiving messages almost immediately upon clicking “Send” on the form, but it takes about 10 seconds for the success message to appear. Therefore, potential customers have been clicking “Send” multiple times and then they get an error message and think their message didn’t go through.

    I tried disabling my host’s spam filter, but it made no difference.

    Any assistance would be most appreciated!

    Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

    I tried deactivating all other plugins and also switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme. The time it takes for the success message to appear is still slow.

    The one difference that occurred is that when I switched to the default theme, the progress indicator displayed (the circular arrows that show you that it’s in process) whereas it isn’t displaying for some reason when the X Theme is activated.
