Slow Rendering

  • Have the most generic Astra starter theme + Elementor site ever, having issues with Elementor rendering times.

    Elementor, Elementor Header & Footer Builder, Elementor Pro active.

    Not hosting – migrated to Cloudways to enable NewRelic, which just confirms it takes a while for each widget to render such as:

    Custom/Elementor\Core\Kits\Documents\Kit::register_controls
    Custom/Elementor\Element_Base::print_element

    Death by a thousand cuts basically.

    All widgets are plain: headings, icon lists, text, social icons.

    It does seem a bit faster with Elementor Pro + Header & Footer Builder disabled, but of course it’s missing a bunch of widgets so you’d expect that.

    No real difference with Astra theme + Astra Pro plugin disabled.

    Any ideas what the issue might be and how to resolve? Original build is around a year old, if that matters re: failed data migration/update or similar.
