    Hello!

I don’t know if this comes directly from WP 6.6, but I noticed the bug only today, after updating.

So the problem is this: saving posts (publication as update) is very slow. I deactivated all my plug-ins, reactivated them one by one and tested the article update. And it is when Jetpack Boost is activated that the problem is present. I tested several times with and without the plugin.

I love your plug-in, simple and effective. I want to continue using it and I know that developing such a tool is not simple. I therefore do not question the development, but I prefer to submit this concern in the hope that it will be resolved! ??

    Best regards

    Hi,

    Do you have any news?

    Hi!

It doesn’t seem like your site has a Jetpack connection. Can you please make sure Jetpack is connected to your site?

Thank you for narrowing it down to Jetpack Boost. Can you narrow it down to a specific module? You can disable all the Jetpack Boost modules and enable the modules one by one similarly to figure out which module is causing the issue.

    Hello,

I ended up disabling it because it made the website too slow. For modules, I only use “Jetpack Boost”; what do you mean ?

    Best regards

    Hi there, @desben,

If you have already pinpointed Boost as the trigger of the slow down time when publishing post, we’d like to investigate further on this. It’s possible that there is something else conflicting too which is leading to Boost as main culprit.

In order to investigate deeper, we need you to share some more information that might include sensitive data. To avoid exposing it to the public, could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread? Please also include PHP error logs or any other data that can show the slow down time ??

Thanks for sorting this out with us!

    Hello @desben,

Do you have updates on this? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    Hello,

I have nothing new on my side, I don’t have any PHP error log. The only way to see the problem would be to activate the plugin again, but it causes too many problems…

    Best regards!

Gotcha. In case you decide give it another try, I’d like to clarify what we meant by “modules” in this comment above. With Boost you can choose which performance enhancements are active. This can be done at Jetpack > Boost by toggling on and off features like: Defer Non-Essential JavaScript, Concatenate JS, and so on. You can read more in Jetpack Boost.

It would be helpful to see which of the Boost features slows down the publishing process.

I hope this clears things up, but please let me know if you have any further questions!
