• Hi guys. After some upade of FB plugin, it not unable to use.

I need to turn it off (deactivate) cause page load time was something about 20 seconds, after disabling the plugin, page load times was normall – under 1 second.

Funny is, that when I was in private browsing (ctrl+shift+n) it loads normal, but when I was logged @ Facebook and reload page, it hurts (about 20 seconds PLT).

So I did a debug, tried to disable few plugins but problem was solved AFTER disabling the Facebook plugin.
Sad is, that this plugin had some good features.. Whatever.

1/5 * cause you are not solving this big problem. Cheers

Which features were enabled you feel were causing issues on your public-facing pages? Were you waiting for JavaScript to load, a comments count, or something else?

The Facebook plugin for JavaScript asynchronously loads a JavaScript file after your webpage has loaded. If your template asks for a comments count and the Facebook Comments Box social plugin is enabled then the plugin will attempt to pull that value from Facebook’s servers and store the result in WordPress cache.

    Hello.
Well problems starts after update. And Im not the only one. Im working as IT support guy and many people calls us for long page load.

I dont think that problem is FB Comments or something like that. It must be some kind of JavaScript or smth…

In private mode (where there is no cache and stuff in browsers) page loads quickly. But when Im at normal mode and logged into Facebook, it is getting horrible long page load time.

I tested PLT with pingdom, and its about 800ms (so 800 ms for robots, not for ppl who are logged into Facebook)

I had activated Facebook Comments, Facebook Likes, Open Graph also had one widget (recommendations). I used it to post to my FB wall (it does not work well) and using an app.

    Problem starts 2-3 weeks ago.
