slow page load fonts gogle apis adds 6.5 seconds to page load

Please can you post a link to the affected page so I can take a quick look at the error console and find out exactly where this is coming from? Thanks.

The problem is

wp_knowledgebase/fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400,600,700

it makes the site load wait from 8.36 seconds to 16.21 seconds additional

please fix this issue, or show me how to change this

Well it doesn’t add load lag like that for me on my sites where I’m using it, or in test environment, hence why I asked for the link so I can take a look and find out why it’s causing it on your site (like maybe some conflict…)

But if you prefer a quick answer… sure, just remove that line of code and it won’t get that font.

Hey also… please can you tell me where in the WP Knowledgebase code you found reference to this font call? Are you on latest version of the plugin?

I’m looking for it, as there’s no reason for the plugin to be calling a Google Font at all… but I can’t see it. If you can point me to where you found this I will fix it up in the plugin.
