Slow page load

Are you saying that your site takes a long time to load in your mobile phone? But it works well when using your desktop computer. Try the following, delete your browser cache in your mobile phone. Make sure your phone is up to date.

Which operating system are you using?
Can you share your URL with the pay button. I will test it on my mobile phone.

No, my site loads fine on my phone and PC. What I’m saying is that when I access my site on my phone and click the Donate button, I have to wait and wait and wait for the PayPal page to open. When I access my site on my PC and click the Donate button, there’s no problem. The PayPal page opens immediately.

I just tried the Donate button on two other phones. It’s *extremely* slow on all phones, Android and iOS!

My site is https://weighttraining.guide. The Donate button is in the sidebar.

Have you installed this plugin? Is your Donate button slow on your phone, too?

This is probably a cache issue. Do you have a cache plugin installed?

No, I do not have a cache plugin. Why would it be a cache issue when it’s the PayPal mobile site and not my own site that’s taking too long to open?

The plugin developers will investigate this issue further. I did carry out a test and you are correct. It does take a bit too long for PayPal to appear.

This has nothing to do with this plugin actually. This delay is coming from PayPal’s mobile site. The plugin simply posts the data directly to the PayPal’s site when you click the button so it has no way of adding any delay there.

I did test the donate button on my test site using a mobile device. That works fine though. So not sure if your PayPal account has something to do with the paypal mobile site maybe?

Please help me to resolve this issue! There’s nothing wrong with my PayPal account, and I doubt that there’s anything wrong with PayPal’s mobile site.

Could the problem have anything to do with the way the plugin “talks” to PayPal’s mobile site?

I contacted PayPal technical support. I’m awaiting their reply. Gonna find out if it’s the plugin or something else. Shall post back soon.

PayPal technical support still haven’t got back to me, which is absurd!

Anyway, the mobile page seems to be loading more quickly now for some reason.
