Slow on multisite

  • You’re not giving enough information. Is your multisite on a dedicated virtual server or on shared hosting?

    What are your settings for Database and Object cache. Notice in the setup that using Database cache can slow down sites on shared hosting.

    I have a vps running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I have nginx as my webserver with APC. I have 60 sites on my network and the database is 5GB in size. I have page cache use Disk:Enhanced; Database Cache use Disk and Object Cache use APC

    More likely you are stretching your server CPU, try giving your host company a call, you may have to upgrade. I had the same issue
