Slow loading time

  • I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running version 3.0.4. I have a very simple site I created in WP. It takes a very long time for the pages to load. I am using only 3 plugins listed below.

    Contact Form 7
    Pagemash
    TinyMCE Advanced

    I am hosting with GoDaddy. I used Artisteer to create the theme. The link to my site is https://www.scgsvc.com

  • From here your pages takes from 2 to 8 seconds to load. 2 seconds is ok, but 8 is just a bit slow.

    Your front page html source says typically

    17 queries. 1.304 seconds

    Not bad at all. Is it your connection or your local network that is the problem here?

    Test your site without Pagemash, no widgets and with the default theme. Better or a bit more predictable?

    If not contact your host.

    Caching might help, but should not be needed on a moderately visited site as I guess this is.
