    some suggestions;
    * make sure you have a page caching plugin active
    * don’t aggregate inline css OR exclude cache-busting CSS (which is different on each page/ request) from CSS optimization
    * optionally pre-minify some of the bigger CSS-files and rename them <filename>-min.css so AO knows it doesn’t have to re-minify those
