Slow Loading?

On one of my blogs, Fl Fishing, I got a comment from some one I know that says it was slow to load for them. I have also noticed it’s slow to load sometimes. It uses a lot of from youtube and a lot of sources, that’s the whole premise so it can’t be avoided, but do you think lowering the amount of posts on the first page would be worth the SEO sacrifice of having less content on the page?

I’m already hit with that anyway as most of the content is in video.

Also anyone know any other tricks to make a blog/page like this load faster (without removing the videos obviously).
