Slow add to cart loading with AJAX

  • I have a product, that has 3 from X product and 3 from Y product.

    You cannot select the quantity, neither the products.

    When i hit add to cart button, it takes around 15 seconds to add the product to the cart.

    The cart plugin i have is: Sidecart

    But i have seen in other sites i have (with other carts) that it also takes too long to add.

    There is an issue with my site, or this is a bug from WPC Composite?

    Didn’t change.

    Still i get 5 seconds in single products and 15 seconds in composite products

    Hi @avagp ,

    The loading speed also depends on the number of products and stock checking as well. It will take more time to check the stock quantity and pricing or discount rules of subitems within your composite.

    If your site is using any caching plugin, it will also slow our plugin down as it needs more time to refresh the stock update and get the real-time stock of the subproducts.

    Unfortunately, I cannot give you any further instructions considering this issue now.
