• WPForms is a highly efficient and user-friendly plugin, known for its simplicity in creating diverse forms on websites. However, it harbors a notable flaw – the inability to recognize the Slovak domain (.sk), a standard domain in Slovakia, offering incorrect suggestions like .kr instead.

This issue originates from the plugin’s reliance on an outdated Mailcheck library, utilized for email suggestions, which lacks the inclusion of Slovak domain. The plugin support, led by Mr. Prashant Rai, has offered temporary solutions to disable the incorrect email address suggestions and has been receptive to user concerns, recommending adding custom codes via developer documentation and suggesting the use of the WPCode plugin for a beginner-friendly experience.

While these temporary fixes are helpful, they don’t address the root of the problem – the outdated library’s lack of support for the .sk domain.

  • Hi @bestranger,

Thank you for the review and for including some feedback!

As you have already mentioned, we use the Mailcheck library for the email suggestions, and we do not put anything on top of their defaults.

Mailcheck provides a default list of domains, which can be extended per one’s needs, and that was the workaround provided by Prashant, to include the Slovak domain.
They update their list of domains in their updates, so eventually they will add the Slovak domain (.sk).

If you need any help with the instructions provided on how to add a new domain to the list, please feel free to follow up in the support thread you’ve created.

    Thank you!
