Slot quota and group booking

Hi,

Could you please give more details regarding this:

“but still 3 seats left the next slot.”

I just want to know if it’s possible for someone to book 3 time slots in a row, for 3 seats and having a 10 seats quota per slot.
So, max 10 seats per slotsi also want to know if there is a way for people to bokk multiple slots in a row. And for more than 1 seat.

Person A books 3 seats from 6pm -10pm
Person B books 5 seats from 8-9m
Person C can’t book 4 seats from 8-9 because it would be more than 10 seats between 8-9

Yes, that will be possible. But the duration of the services is fixed in our plugin, so you will need to create multiple services with different durations.

and how do I set a group (more than one person booking at a time) and how to set a quota?

You need to set the option Maximum booking count per time slot in the service settings.

That would allowed multiple bookimg per time slots. But how can people choose if they are 1, 2 or 4 persons booking together?

Do you need to get name/email for each person from the group?

No, just one contact who books for multiple persons.

In this case you need only set two options:

1. Maximum booking count per time slot in the service settings.

2. Mode of multiple places selection on the Mode tab of the Webba settings page (set to ‘Let user select count’).

As a result the dropdown with the number of people will appears in the beginning of the booking form.

But now,
Somwone who wants to book for two hours only have options: 1-3, 3-5, 5-7 etc..
What if they want 3:30-5:30?

Set the Step option of the service to 30.

This works great! But now if I but a service for 3 hours for 2 persons. There is still 5 seats available but if I go back and try to book, sometimes slots dissapears even if there’s supposed to still have avaabillity or sometimes I book something and it changes ALL the slots. So thete is 7 spots available everywhere, i’ll book one slot for 2 spots and ALL the slots that day will say that there is only 5 available

I made a test booking. For example, when I booked at 5:00 pm, the availability of 5:30 changed too because this is an overlapping interval. What you need is to not affect the availability of overlapping intervals, so that at 5:30 there are still 7 places available, correct?
