    Hi,

I am trying to get slimstat to check the value of another plugins cookie (GDPR) this plugin creates a cookie in the form of an array(gdpr[allowed_cookies]) containing the names of all cookies accepted by the website user. I have not been able to get slimstat to read this ‘array’ is there a way to do this?

    Thanks

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

Slimstat can read “plain text” cookies for this purpose, but not more complex structures. In that case, you may want to develop your own custom add-on, that scans your visitors’ using the specific format used by the other plugin, and then tells Slimstat if this pageview should be tracked or not. Please contact us at https://support.wp-slimstat.com if you would like us to assist you in developing this custom functionality (for a fee).

    Hi Jason,

I have created a workaround whch checks the cookie set by the GDPR plugin and then sets a plain text cookie based on the result that your plugin can then read.

    Thanks
