Slimstat now tracking Googlebot

    For some reason is now tracking Googlebot, and maybe other bots. That means I am getting ten times the usual visits, and the statistics are completely useless. That seems to be happening since the last update yesterday. I am running in client mode as I have a caching plugin, and bots were not being tracked earlier. I turned on the bot filter, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference in client mode.

    Okay, keep an eye on it and let us know.

    First, I had a strange bug or something today. My blog was just responding with a HTTP 500 Error. I had to deactivate Slim Stat in order to get the site running. After installing the new version everything is working fine.

    And I haven’t seen any Googlebot entries yet. But maybe the MSNbot hits @kallekn reported earlier, too.
