I inspected the headers returned by your server, and this is what I got:

    Remote Address: 65.254.248.195:80
    Request URL: https://www.sketchview.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    Request Method: POST
Status Code: 500 Internal Server Error

You may want to talk to your service provider or inspect your webserver log files to see why that is happening. Unless you have another plugin blocking access to admin-ajax.php

    Cheers,
    Camu

    Thanks Camu.
I have submitted a help ticket, with this information, to my service provider and will let you know what develops.
    Thanks,

    Camu,
I Forwarded your note directly to the service provider support.
    They resonded:
“I tried accessing the URL https://www.sketchview.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php and it is loading up with white blank page. There is no issue with the URL’s working since there are contents to be displayed in the browser. I suggest that you please check for WordPress support forums regarding this issue. “

So it looks like I need to pursue finding some other plugin blocking access to admin-ajax.php.?
    Not aware of any such.
    Thanks,
    John

    John,

admin-ajax.php needs to be invoked with a HTTP POST request and an action parameter, in order to trigger the corresponding function. Checking that the URL loads in a web browser is not indicative of any particular issue. They should check the webserver error log, where the 500 Error message should be accompanied by a short description of the issue encountered while trying to fulfill that request.

    Best,
    Camu

    Camu,
Thanks. I have so relayed your more specific checking request to the Service Provider. I will keep you posted and hope this turns up the problem.
    Gratefully,

    Camu,
They indicated they could not find the server error in the log, nor could they duplicate. “I am unable to locate any records regarding 500 Internal Server Error. Website functionality is working fine. You can verify the Error Logs . If you still get same error then please get back to us with steps to duplicate the issue.
Sorry for the back and forth.

Well, something must have changed since last time I checked. Now I don’t see the 500 error message anymore, and actually my pageviews were tracked as expected. You should see the corresponding entries in your activity log. Can you confirm?

    Glad no error persists.

Everything seems back to normal, no? Please ask the moderator to remove our IP addresss. We don’t feel comfortable having it there in public ??

    Camu,
I do get the graphic showing hits when I access SlimStat overview with Internet Explorer 10. Thanks
However I still get text lines only (vs. graphic) when I access Slimstat overview via Chrome Version 47.0.2526.80.
