I would like the header image to be a slideshow. The image I’m referring to is Customizer->Header->Header Main->Advanced Styling->Background->Background Image. Has anybody done this? I’ve searched quite a bit for the solution, with no luck. I found a link describing how to make the cover background image be a slideshow, using Elementor. This isn’t the image I want, and also, I don’t use Elementor (at least not currently). I could also possibly customize the php code, but I can’t find where the header jpg file is referenced. I searched all the code, and didn’t find any jpg references. I thought this was strange. Thanks for any ideas.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

The theme does not support showing the slider header background images. But in the Pro version, you can use a slider plugin then add its shortcode to Page Header > Custom Shortcode to show in the header. Screenshot https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLugQ2YE.

Thanks much for the reply! I’m not sure that the page header is what I want. If it’s the same as Layout -> Page Header -> Color and Background -> Background Image, then it’s in the wrong location. I want it in the same location as Header -> Header Main -> Advanced Styling -> Background Image.

Do you have any tips on how I could do this with my child theme? i.e. where in the customify code is the ‘Background Image’ referenced? I’ve searched and can’t find it, yet. I think maybe it’s kind of ‘hidden’ either with a variable name, or with a svg conversion.

    Thanks again for your help.
