Sliding comments shelf

  • Hi.

    I am looking for a plugin, hack or just plain php/ajax code that will allow me to create a text sliding shelf below the header with the latest x number of comments.

    I have tried to google this, but I am not able to find any solution that is even close to what I want. However, you see these sliding text banners all over the internet, so it should not be that hard to get hold of should it?

    If not enhanced for comments, I would still be glad for any advice on how make some text dynamic in terms of sliding across the page.

    Anyone that can help or point me in the correct direction?
