slidette not working & shuts me out of wordpress

  • Hello out-there,

    I really like this theme and have ‘successfully downloaded’ it to my wordpress dashboard. After I activate it & go to see the site in Firefox I receive the following message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘ in /home/seminarj/public_html/wp-content/themes/slidette/functions.php on line 146

    Each time I have to unload the theme from word press in my FTP as it completely shuts me out of the dashboard to remove the theme.

    Any suggestions on how I can make this site work? As I really like the style…

    I am sorry I am new to code and still learning!
    Unfortunately I can not seem to find “the fix error in the functions file” – I have opened it in Dreamweaver which helps me locate the invalid code but it makes no suggestions on how to fix it!?
    Any suggestions? Appreciate your thoughts ??
