Just updated a lot of plugins and updated WordPress to 3.5.1
    (I can’t remember what version of WordPress I had before – it wasn’t 3.5 – think it was 3.4.2)

When I checked my homepage I found that the slideshow area was just a blank grey rectangle.

    My website is https://test8.nickwingfielddesign.co.uk

    Other details:

Meteor Slides was version 1.5. When it didn’t work, I updated it to 1.5.1 – but it still didn’t work

NB. I’ve read the topic: Slides don’t work after update 1.5.1. I don’t know if this topic relates to my problem – but if it does I don’t understand the advice given

    Please help

Hi Nick, you’ve got some JavaScript errors on that site, there is a conflict with your theme or another plugin. Try deactivating it and testing the slideshow to see if one of them is the issue.

Many thanks for your advice, JLeuze

I tried deactivating another newly updated plugin that also turned out not to be working: Collapse-O-Matic

As soon as I did that, Meteor Slides started working

Then I tried deleting the Collapse-O-Matic plugin (Version 1.5.1) and reinstalling the earlier version (1.4.9). When I activated it, it began working correctly – and Meteor Slides still worked.

So thanks again for your help.

My apologies for thinking that your plugin was the problem

I’ll contact the maker of Collapse-O-Matic
