Slideshow png icons & Google fonts rendering poorly in IE 8

  • (I posted this in the wrong forum earlier, sorry about that.)

    This is a great plugin, however I’m experiencing some difficulties with it on IE 7 & 8.

    IE8:
    1)The png icons used in the slide show (left/right arrows, previous/next buttons, pagination buttons) render badly with jagged edges. Other pngs in the website that are not part of the slideshow don’t have this problem and render properly.

    2) Google fonts used in the slideshow render poorly. The same fonts render fine in the rest of the website and only have a problem within the slideshow.

    IE7:
    The slideshow does not load and remains stuck on the loading animation.

    The plugin works very well with Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
