Slideshow Plugin is not compatible with new WP version 3.8.

  • The proper thing to do is to find a compatible plugin. Reverting to old versions of WP to keep compatibility of a theme or plugin could lead to your site being compromised. Always run latest version of WP with compatible plugins/themes.

    That said, you will need both the full DB export and full site files backup (as always noted when updates are to be done) to revert. Do you have those?

    You could export all post etc using the export tool, rebuild your site manually to 3.7.1 and then import them (but see first paragraph).

    Thank you, I see now that the newest version of Slideshow Jquery (which I am running) and WP 3.8 are compatitable so not sure why my slideshows are all “stuck” right now and are not loading on the front end. The site is https://www.vanderplasgallery.com
