Slideshow on Homepage

@eportcharger: Your question is not really a slideshow related question. You need to either create a static WordPress front page, or you need to place the slideshow in your theme. There’s an ‘is_home()‘ function to check whether or not you’re on the home page of your site.

@swaps4: If you’re looking for a way to show a widget only on a certain page, have a look at this plugin.

I am currently using the theme: Catch Everest, but I do not see ‘is_home()’ function.

And also, when I create a static front page, slideshow is placed on the bottom of the page; but I wanted it on top.

Thanks! it still shows on blog pages for some reason but it works perfectly.
