    Greetings. It appears the plugin jQuery Updater is causing the issue. Disable the plugin and you should be just fine. It is a best practice to use the version of jQuery bundled with your WordPress install anyway. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you very much. I thought I had tried disabling that plugin earlier. In any case, problem solved and everything is functional.
