• Hi
I’ve been struggling to do something that I don’t know if it’s realy possible or not.
I need to have thumbnails in pages like “product details” page and by clicking that user can see a slideshow of some pictures(with some tags and description) or content related to that product or topic. I don’t want to have all pictures in my page. It should be something with just a link, thumbnail, icon and linked to fancy/light/shadow box to show defined pictures and content and being able to creat several different shows.
I’d be thankful if anybody can tell me the solution. I’ve been checking almost all plugins.
    Thanks

  • The simplest option is to just insert the images into your post/page at the thumbnail size with the link set to the image’s URL. Or you could look at WordPress’ Gallery function.

Then, for displaying the images in a lightbox fashion, the Easy Fancybox plugin works a treat for me.

    Thanks for your reply.
That’s right but you need to put all thumbnails in page and link each one to show in lightbox. but what about showing them in lightbox as slideshow?
and if it’s possible to just have one thumbnail for all a group of images?

Add the thumbnails with the rel=’gallery’ tag to the page but give the ones you don’t want to show on the page a style=”display:none”.
