I am rather new to this but so far I have solved most issues with the Satellite Slideshow (version 2.3.3). Testing in IE11 and Mozilla Firefox (version 36.0.1) looks great. When I test with Opera (version 28.0.1750.48) the slideshow starts with a short flash showing the frame and then only the navigation arrows are visible in a small frame. Same with Google Chrome.
Are there any known problems with Satellite Slideshow and the Opera and Chrome browser or can it be wrong settings in the slideshow?

I mostly use Chrome and I haven’t seen the problem you’re seeing ??

Perhaps I could check on your site? It could be a conflict with the theme, especially if it comes with a slideshow

    Hi cpres.
Thank you for reply. I posted my request 3 month ago and in the meantime I have tried some solutions myself and I have found out that the issue are somehow connected to setting (sizes etc.) in Satellite, and the problem is solved. I am very pleased with Satellite as I use it in my site https://www.modelbyggerne.dk.
I wonder if there are a solution to another (minor) issue in Manage Slideshow (Satellite). Is it possible to add a name to the slideshow instead of the number? As you can see, I have different slides in different pages, so it wouild be nice to see the name og the show (page)in the manager.
I am danish and I am not familiar with english correspondance but I hope that you understand what I am trying to explain for you.
    Thank you again.
    Kind regards from Soren Knud

I think I know what you’re talking about

Using the page slug should work OK.

[satellite slug=about] used to work, haven’t test it in awhile though! That of course will only work if you’re doing a post_id which if you’re using Manage Slides it’s probably not.

No, on second thought for the Satellite Custom Galleries you do have to use the # after all…It’s a good idea for a new feature though, to slugify the title and be able to use that
